We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room and the beautiful traditional Japanese decor. The private garden added a touch of tranquility to our stay. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, even providing us with a warm pajama for our child. The location was ideal, just a short walk from Yasaka Shrine and other popular attractions. we highly recommend this hotel for a perfect stay in Kyoto.

The wooden traditional home had a lovely design, and the location was great with several tourist spots within walking distance. the staff provided adequate toiletries and towels, and the portable safe was an added advantage.
The food options were quite limited during peak periods, and the queue was quite long. there were a lot of stairs to climb, which could be a challenge for some guests.

The hotel was spotless and super comfortable. They provided amazing toiletries and the beds made for a great night's sleep. The location was ideal, right in the heart of a beautiful historic district with plenty of unique shops and cafes within walking distance. The staff was exceptionally helpful and thoughtful, always going out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
That the bathroom was not en suite, which meant having to walk a few steps down a cold corridor to use it. the bathroom lacked heating, which was particularly uncomfortable during the colder months.

We loved our stay at this newly renovated traditional ryokan. The room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated with a private bathroom and cozy garden. The location was perfect with many restaurants within a 10-minute walk. The staff were super friendly, helpful and even provided us with extra futons and warm pajamas for our kids.
